Monster Traits

Lance's merrow form is based off of a great white shark. I did a rough sketch of him in the water here. I also have a beautiful commissioned piece by @hikaranko.plurk here!

Physical Changes

Traits:

Webbed fingers: What it says on the tin. His nails are also a little long and claw-like.
Gills: Gills on the sides of his neck.
Dry skin: Looks a little rough to the touch, too.
Sharp teeth: He's got plenty of them. His smile might be a little startling to some people.
Back fin: A gray fin on his back.

Notes: Lance is doing okay with his changes and has gotten adjusted to most of them so far. He's basically done with his physical changes by now. In the water, he gains a shark tail and an extra fin, as well as fin-like appendages for his ears.

Psychological Changes

Traits:

Shiny objects: He's got urges to steal and hoard shiny things. Better keep an eye on your stuff!
Musically inclined: Better at instruments than he would be otherwise, including singing.
